This book is about a girl named Kendra. She was sexually abused when she was little. Even though she tried to tell her mother, her mother refused to believe her. Her mother was so busy with her art that she didn't pay attention to Kendra. Kendra is now 15, but she cannot remember who her abuser was. All she remembers are his hands. The book starts off with her in theropy. She forms this real connection with her theropist, Carolyn. But she still feels stalked by her attacker. So she resorts to cutting, in order to stop the memories. Throughout the story, Kendra starts new relationships: she begins dating Meghan, grows a closer bond with her art teacher, Mrs. Archer, and confides in family-friend, Sandy. But as the novel reaches its climax, a major plot twist occurs. Does Kendra remember who her rapist was? Will her relationships last or fail?
I absolutely loved this book! When I was reading it, I felt what the characters felt and I understood what they were going through. I give it 5 stars! I recommend it to high school students because of intense scenes and adult matters.

This was an amazing and inspiring book. The plot twist in the end just boggles my mind. I couldn't stop reading, I finished it in one night because I had to find out who the rapist was. Kendra's story is amazing and it shows you can overcome anything and be a strong individual.
