Zoey isn't a normal fledgeling. She already has many tattoos the goddess Nyx has blessed her with, as well as an affinity for all five elements. In Tempted, Zoey continues her struggle with Kalona, a fallen angel and Neferate, who believes she is Nyx Incomate. Kalona tries to convince people to go back to the "old ways," which basically means killing people who do not believe him.Zoey and her group of friends have to stop them before it's too late. Through Zoey's strange dreams, they discover Kalona and Neferate are at Vampire High Council. While there, something horrific happens that could change the life of everyone and could probably end life as we know it for Zoey and the whole fledgeling community.
