This vampire novel is not like any other average vampire book. Charlotte Emerson is a century old vampire who finally escaped her creator. For six long years she has lived a lonely life. She met a man, but after a few years he passed on. He only knew her for a short time but decided to leave her all of his riches. His death wasn't a huge loss because she didn't love him all that much. Shortly after, she meets a fragile young girl named Emily. Emily is unaware that Charlotte is "different". Once she find out about Charlotte's secret, Emily seems to be very accepting. For a short while they live in happiness, but just when you thought things couldn't get any better, all hell breaks loose. Charlotte's creator has finally located her and is now seeking revenge. What Charlotte doesn't know is that her life will change . It is left up to you to see what the outcome is.
