Camileon by Shykia Bell Camile Len doesn't recall anything from her childhood. All she remembers is the rejection she faced in high school and the feel of being incomplete. She finally pressures her mom to tell her everything- what happened to her father, why is she different, and what was her childhood like- but her mom slips into a weird coma. All Camile has to figure out her mystery are a picture of her and her father, the mysterious necklace he gave her, and her new friend Akalina. I liked the book a lot and I'm interested in the sequel, the only thing is that the majority of the story is about how Camile is trying to find out who she is, but nothing is explained until the very end. Even then there were things left that will hopefully be explained in the next book. However, I enjoyed the characters, and the pieces of Camile's new world the author has revealed so far.
