The Hobbit has become one of the best loved books of all time. Now in an illustrated form the fantasy classic is even more thrilling. I thought it did a great job depicting the actual pictures. Chapter 1 opens as the wizard Gandalf visits the hobbit Bilbo Baggins and invites him to join in an adventure. Bilbo declines. He doesn’t want to leave the safety and comfort of his hobbit-hole. The graphic novel edition goes much faster than the actual book. Overall the entire graphic novel edition was really good.
