Persepolis By: Marjane Satrapi

This graphic novel is about a girl named Marji. She grew up in India, and lived the country. When she was younger, she was convinced that she was the last prophet, and every night she had a conversation with god. Their family was forced to where the veil, which is a hood to keep women modest. She wanted to stand up for not having to where the veil. She would try to sneak out and join protest groups.
