Cassie is trapped in a prison called Peaceful Cove. Her step-dad has persuaded her pregnant mother into believing that Cassie does meth. At Peaceful Cove, she has been beaten, harassed, and starved. They are forced to do back-breaking work evey day. They can't speak or move without permission. Finally, Cassie and her new best friend, Hailey, have figured out a way to escape. But will they be able to or will Father Gary shoot them down first? And if Cassie escapes...will anyone believe her?
