Nora Grey and her best friend Vee Sky attend Coldwater High, where Nora couldn't be interested in any of the guys at her school. Until Patch comes along. Nora can't figure out if the feelings she has for Patch are good or bad. He is secretive beyond anything else, and knows too much. Meanwhile Nora and Vee meet another new student, Elliot, who appears innocent enough. Patch and Elliot both want Nora and now things get more dangerous. Somebody is trying to kill Nora and nobody can decide who is behind it. Is it Elliot or Patch? Nora needs to make a choice on who to trust, and the wrong choice could cause her death.
One word: AMAZING! One of the best, shorter books I've ever read. Hush, Hush is a 391 page romantic mystery that will keep you wondering who really is the good guy. I could not figure out who I liked until the very end, constantly switching back and forth from hating and loving Patch as well as being rather skeptical about Elliot. Just when I thought I had it figured out, Becca threw more and more twists at me that I did not see coming. I cannot wait until the sequel, though by the preview it looks like I'm back to hating Patch again. I give it four and a half stars for such a great read. I will definitely look into more stuff by Becca Fitzpatrick.
