Nevermore: A Graphic Adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s Short Stories
Are you a fan of the work of Edgar Allen Poe? Well here they are as they have never been seen before. This graphic novel contains some of Poe’s most infamous stories including "The Raven" and "The Tell Tale Heart." However, this book takes these stories and remakes them and sets them in an original modern view. For example the main character of the Tell Tale Heart is female and also blind. I can’t tell too much since that would spoil the ending. I found most of the stories to be unique and satisfyingly creepy. None of the artwork is the same for each story which I found fit the mood of the book perfectly. The endings are twisted and can sometimes leave you wanting more. If you are a horror fan or someone who just wants a good scare I recommend this book.
