Are you a "Survivor" fan? The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, is a twisted look at an extreme Survivor game. In this futuristic look at the United States after an apocalypse, the new country "Panem" is controlled by sadistic administrators. To be sure that no one tries to rebel against the new government, the Hunger Games are held every year. Every citizen of Panem between the ages of 12 - 18 is entered in a yearly lottery to compete in the ultimate game of survival. Of the 24 competitors, only one will win. Only one will live.
This was one of the best books I've read in a while. It's a five star!
